The State of New Jersey is increasing minimum wage through 2025 and funding for home care reimbursements must keep pace to ensure NJ seniors can remain safely and independently at home with personal care services.
Fortunately, a bill (S3491-A5098), which proposes an increase to the PCA reimbursement rate, has passed both the House and the Senate and is headed to the Governor's desk for his signature. Using the 'Take Action' button above, please take one minute to contact Governor Murphy to urge him to protect vulnerable New Jersians by signing S3491-A5098 into law.
If we do not take action to increase funding today, home care agencies will struggle to maintain valuable services needed by more than 30,000 of NJ's most vulnerable residents and healthcare costs will increase significantly.
